Thoughts for Today - "Priorities!"

Defined as the fact or condition of being regarded as more important or a thing regarded as more important than others...
Humans are beings created with the will power to make hundreds of choices and decisions everyday, as long as they are alive; these will in turn determine what each one considers as their priorities in life often based on their scales of preference...
An individual's love for a particular thing plays a vital role in defining his value for that thing and consequently the priority level he sets for the thing...
Priorities differ from one person to another just as individuals' preferences differ; but however, setting either the right or the wrong order of priorities in life will definitely determine if one is on the right or on the wrong path in life's journey and also one's final end..."Nothing goes right when priorities are set wrong and nothing goes wrong when priorities are set right!" "You only end up preparing the wrong meal even if you used the right ingredients but applied in the wrong order!"
The first step in setting priorities should be a proper understanding of what matters most and what matters least in life; putting into proper consideration the fact, that life is only a one-time journey in which one's bus stop can be at any point in time, and as the Word says, "It is appointed to every man to die once and after that comes judgement"; therefore, setting the wrong order of priorities can lead to a wrong end..."Your most important decisions in life will be most influenced by what you consider most important in life!"
Many factors, most of them wrong; would affect one's priorities in life; such as the quest for riches, wealth and fame often caused by discontentment, unhealthy competition, the need to belong, effects of one's environment, improper knowledge and upbringing or just an addiction to the world system of doing things; and not forgetting the consequential effect of a spiritual force often unknowingly to one... "If you spend more time chasing that which matters less, you will end up missing that which mattered most!"
Humans do not have the perfect ability on their own to always do things right by their own weak will; yet God, our Creator by His Holy Spirit puts in us the ability to willingly surrender ourselves to His own perfect will and be led aright, thereby enabling us to always set our priorities right...
A genuine love for God must be proven by a one setting priorities in every of his life's steps, choices and decisions based first on what is pleasing to God...That is, making God first priority; and only that guarantees the right end..."If God does not take first place in your order of priorities, then you've set the wrongest order of priorities in life!" "The best order of priorities you can set in your life while on earth: To live pleasing to God, To accomplish God's purpose for your life and to Make heaven; any other order is out of order!"
"Nothing goes right when priorities are set wrong and nothing goes wrong when priorities are set right!"
