“...The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he
addeth no sorrow with it...”
Money, Cars, Houses, Fame, Fortunes, Husbands/Wives,
Children; are all gifts from the LORD but they are not 'the' blessing; they may
only be the products of 'the' blessing of God, and all those could as well be
gotten from many other sources including the devil, but there is only one
source of 'the' blessing: God!
The root source of any seeming 'blessings' can only be
told by its products and final end-product.
"The most naturally poor but spiritually blessed
man is still richer than the most materially rich but spiritually un-blessed
man!"
A truly 'blessed man' out-lives the products of 'the'
blessing on earth and enters a realm of even greater blessings in eternity. The
death of a blessed man is not the end of 'the' blessing but the beginning of a
new level of 'the' blessing. A truly 'blessed man' never dies, even if it seems
naturally he died young; it’s not about the man, it’s about 'the' blessing upon
the man; he only changed level, and 'the' blessing lives on.
Noah, Abraham, Jacob, David of old, and many of God's
anointed ones, some in our present age; have all passed on, yet 'the' blessing
upon them is still speaking today.
The weight of 'the' blessing cannot be measured by
material possessions that never last; its impact goes beyond generations. A man
who died leaving behind nothing else but perishable material wealth is a man
who never experienced 'the' blessing!
When God said to Abraham, "I will bless you and
make you a blessing..."; God was not only telling him how much he would be
blessed but also the real purpose of 'the' blessing upon him, which is to make
him a blessing to generations after him just as we are seeing it till today.
All the products or the additions that accompanied ‘the’ blessing upon him (his
wealth and riches of cattle, sheep, houses, other material possessions, even
his wife and his biological children) may have all died many years ago, but
‘the’ blessing itself lives on as many generations are still being blessed
through him.
Money is only a tool for achieving God's purpose for
one's life, but many have reversed the order by making money the god of their
lives and God the tool for achieving their own selfish ambitions. God brought
you on earth to carry out an assignment 'for Him' and He decides which tools
you need and the right time to release them to you; but many focus more on
getting the tools by any means rather than finding out the assignment, staying
on it and waiting patiently on God their Employer to release the required
tools. It’s not your job to find the tools; yours is to ask God for your share
of the work and locate it; then God provides the tools for His work in His own
time. It’s never about what you want, but what He wants; it’s never about what
you planned for yourself, but what He planned for you even before your parents
planned to have you.
You may not need all the wealth on earth to achieve
it; amazingly, you may not even need a husband/wife or children to complete
God's assignment for you, depending on His grace released upon your life. You
cannot do God's work as He pleases when you choose the tools for the work as it
pleases you. Always remember that everything God created, He created for His
own glory, including 'You'. His assignment for your life was not planned to end
on earth but to continue in eternity; the earthly work is only a temporary stop
point, of which one’s level of ‘faithfulness’ in it is the criteria for
determining who continues in the journey.
'The' blessing of the LORD 'makes' rich, but riches
are not 'the' blessing, only 'one' of the products!
The way to obtaining the products of 'the' blessing is
easier; work hard and pray hard, and you’re sure of acquiring all the wealth
and riches you desire; but securing 'the' blessing itself is beyond diligence
and prayer; it involves a self and all-sacrificing love for God, giving Him
first place permanently, a total faith and obedience without compromise, a
constant unbroken intimate relationship with God, both working for and walking
with Him, a continuous quest for deeper revelations and knowledge of Him, a
readiness to be called the greatest fool before the eyes of natural men, a
willingness to go insane for God, and of course the working of the grace and
mercy of God (as no amount of good works or qualifications can be a determinant
of whom God chooses); then maybe God will consider you too like He did with
Job.
It’s a steep
price, but it’s the only price for the prize of 'the' blessing. The titles
"A friend of God", "A man after God's heart"; are not
earned by cheap talk, but its achievable however, as it’s said 'if man has done
it, then man can do it', only if one can give it all it takes. It’s a journey
of countless miles, but one can always begin with a step, and never forget that
the prize is priceless!
Yes! You too can experience 'the' blessing!
Nice day friends!
