Thoughts for Today - "Beauty!"

A thing that is considered pleasing to d eyes or attractive to d looks
is often termed beautiful...
Its also said dat beauty is in d eyes of d beholder because what looks
beautiful to one, may have a different look to another...
However, beauty is often a state of a mind, not really d
eyes...Actually, "you dont see with your eyes, rather you see first
with your mind, then through your eyes"...The mind is d seat of
perception and its state at any point in time affects how one's senses
responds physically...
Therefore, d ability to recognize and distinguish between what is
beautiful and what is not, is a function of d state of d on-looker's
mind...
One's mind state as it regards to beauty is also determined by one's
belief and understanding of what true beauty means...For some, it may
mean outward physical qualities or attributes and for others it may go
beyond dat...
Certainly, it would be errorneous and probably amount to foolishness,
to consider beauty only by physical appearance, not recognizing d fact
dat nothing seen physically is immuned to fading out and dat d natural
law of diminishing returns would have its course in due time...
A wise man said "Who you are is who u will attract"...One who defines
and considers beauty only by outward looks would often attract another
with same belief...
True beauty is d state of a good heart...
A beautiful face may attract d attention, but a beautiful heart keeps
d attention...
A beautiful outlook may save one's face but a beautiful heart will
save one's name from shame...
The best cosmetics could beautify d skin but no make-ups can beautify
an ugly heart...
Outward beauty is deceptive, its temporary and built on dat which is
seen but an Inward beauty is built on strong Character, dat which is
permanent and often unseen...
Its vain to labour more in beautifying d outward while d inward is out
of order...
Beauty can be misleading and has been d undoing of many becos of d
lack of sensitivity and understanding of wat true beauty is...
"Beauty is actually 'not' in d 'eyes' of d beholder, but in d 'faith'
of d beholder"
It is not beautiful until your mind gets you to believe it is; and if
you believe it is then also find out why you believe so...
